Guideline
- GEMA declaration of manufacture
- Every record production must be approved by the collecting society GEMA, even if the sound carrier only includes GEMA-free works.
- Fill in the GEMA declaration of manufacture online or use this PDF.
- Send the filled in form to the GEMA. The contact details can be found on the form.
- The processing by the GEMA takes approximately one week. Submit the approval in time to prevent a delay of the start of production.
- Send us a copy of the delivery permit To mail@intakt-vinyl.com. Before that, we will not produce any test pressings.
- Remark:
- If you use material that requires a licence or if you are a member of the GEMA yourself, you will receive a bill from the GEMA and we will receive a permit for pressing. If no material is used which requires a licence and the artist is not a member of the GEMA, you will receive mail from the GEMA within a few days (usually at latest after eight days) with two copies of the permit, of which you must send us one. The same applies to the use of works whose author and co-authors have been deceased for more than 70 years.

- Send us the signed declaration of approval, with which you grant us the right to reproduce your audio material for this order.
